We do grooming in our location or at your home.

Bath: At My Pet Spa, we have a full selections of polishing pet shampoos, including hypoallergenic, medicated and herbal options to fulfill your pets special needs. A bath includes the shampoo & conditioner best suited to your dog or cat, along with a fluff-dry, brushing, nails trimmed & ears cleaned. We also include a bandana or ribbon, whichever you perfer. We also offer a range of special occasion ware & services. Please ask us about how we can dress your pet up!

Neaten: A "neaten" includes our bath services plus a little trimming by the eyes, feet & under the tail. Getting a "neaten" lets your dog go longer in between grooming appointments but still keeps a tidy appearance & quality skin care.

Full Grooming: When you opt for a full grooming service, your pet will receive a shampoo & condition, fluff dry, brushing, nails trimmed, ears cleaned, a customized, precision haircut, a bandana or ribbon plus lots of friendly attention. We will be pleased to have suggestions for what would make your pet look like a million bucks, and we will be happy to help create a look that is more what you prefer!

Teeth brushing, good dogs Im experienced in lightly scaling teeth smaller breeds only.

How long does it take? The groom ing process goes along in stages, that way your pet won't be rushed through without a break. We also don't want them to be left alone for very long. We've found that small rests or cage free play time between stages helps your pet relax, enjoy being groomed & have a great experience. Full grooms typically take about 4-5 hours. A little less time is needed for our bath & neaten services. Your dog is welcome to stay longer if that's more convenient. Made easy for you, you can drop off your pet as early as 7am & pick up as late as 7pm on Mon - Fri, 10-6pm on Saturdays.

Did you know that pet grooming is a process that requires time, patience and lots of TLC? After your Best Friend meets his or her groomer, the “Process” begins.

Ears are cleaned and hairs are removed from the ear canal to prevent infections

    Nails are cut
    Teeth are Brushed
    Pads are shaved
    Sanitary clip
    Your pet then has the first trim or “rough –in”

Now it's bath time – at least three shampoos – a de-greaser, coat color enhancer and finally, a conditioner or conditioning shampoo depending on coat type - to ensure that your furry friend is squeaky clean. Please tell us if he or she has a skin condition so that we can use the appropriate shampoo. We use natural ingredients & mix our own shampoo. Shampoo is available for sale.

Anal glands are released if necessary
Next, the dog is blown dry . If your pet has curly hair, it must be straightened & brushed thoroughly and combed out
If needed, the dog is then de-matted (this is an extra charge since it is extremely time consuming).
Finally, he or she is back on the grooming table for a final trim and / or haircut

What is included in “just a bath”? A bath includes the following:

• At least three shampoos – a de-greaser, coat color enhancer and a conditioner or conditioning shampoo depending on coat type
• Shaved pads
• Released anal glands
• Sanitary clip
• Ears are cleaned and hairs removed from the ear canal
• Nails are cut and / or filed
